The Okieknitters on Ravelry have decided to have a yarn swap here in Tulsa:
Starbucks at 61st/Yale -- November 1st at 6:30. And we're supposed to spread the word
So COME!! The more the merrier.

That sounds like fun, any specifics yet or will they all be hammered out of Thursday?
The whole deal is completely unstructured. If you have yarn that is not swap-worthy, we are going to put together a bag and donate it to charity. That sounds bad, but you know what I mean--novelty stuff and such.
